In this fact sheet, Stars of Hope Society for Empowering Women with Disabilities highlight on the reality of political participation of women with disabilities in Jordan by highlighting information related to the legal and policy framework governing disability in Jordan , and the challenges facing women with disabilities while trying to engage in political life, and the reflection of this on the positions of women with disabilities, their level of awareness, their participation in political processes and their roles in them for the benefit of persons with disabilities in general and women with disabilities in particular, ensuring the facilitation of overcoming the challenges facing women with disabilities while exercising their right to participate in political life, including this in the legal and policy framework governing disability in Jordan according to the comprehensive approach.
