Colonial Violence Against Women with Disabilities in the Gaza Strip in the Context of Genocide

A study conducted by the Stars of Hope Society (SHS), in cooperation with ActionAid Spain analyzes how violence, forced displacement, and the destruction of services impact women with disabilities (WWDs) in the Gaza Strip.

The findings show that women with disabilities face a harsh reality and compounded violations during the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip. They endure not only the general repercussions of war and genocide but also additional barriers that make them more vulnerable to violence, hunger, disease, and isolation,  and also face increased violence with limited protection mechanisms
