The Inclusion of Students with Disabilities in Vocational Education and Training programs: Reality and challenges

In this study, Stars of Hope examines the attitudes of students with disabilities towards vocational education and training, while also highlighting the major obstacles and challenges they face in this field, both in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. As part of the study, a large number of field interviews were conducted with students in schools and those currently enrolled or previously studied in vocational education and training centers and vocational schools.

The study presents a wide range of findings. On the level of knowledge and awareness, there is a lack of awareness among students in regular schools about vocational education, training, and its specializations. Regarding students’ desire, the interest in joining vocational education and training was relatively high, with females showing a higher interest in vocational education than males.
